In 2007, changes in the US property market, which had been on the cards for a while, saw property values start to decline. Large parts of the states, from Florida to California and many areas inbetween, experienced a glut of properties coming  on to the market, many in ´Forclosure´. 

Parts of the USA have been living off a credit boom, where borrowing money was cheap and easy to get, but the reality is that the real supply and demand ratios are always going to determine the investment value of a property. Pay attention to why the USA is in property reccession and you could save yourself a lot of heartache when it happens elsewhere.

We expect the USA property market to recover at some point and will be keeping a careful eye on the market to know when to move back in help our clients bag a bargain!
